About the Course
Informal assessments are methods of evaluating students' knowledge, skills, and abilities that are not standardized or structured like formal assessments. These assessments are typically more flexible, open-ended, and adaptable to the specific needs of students and the learning context.
Informal assessments provide a more holistic understanding of students' abilities. They capture a wider range of skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration, beyond what standardized tests measure.
The participants enrolling in this course can gauge the progress of the child through ongoing and immediate feedback from these assessments as well as continuous feedback allows educators to make timely adjustments to their teaching strategies and interventions to better support students with diverse learning styles, abilities, and needs, promoting inclusivity in the classroom.
